Adult Sunday School

Sunday School classes are available for all adults from 9:30-10:15 Sundays. The nursery is available for parents with infants and toddlers. Classes include:

New Horizons

This class is a hands-on, mission-driven class that helps both members of the church and the community. The class has adopted John Wesley's Rule as their motto Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can. The members of this class are primarily 35-65 years of age, but we have some active younger members also. You'll find this group to be a fun and supportive family. This class format consists of interactive facilitator-led discussions related to the lesson. The class meets in the rear classroom of the Fellowship Hall.

College Age

All college-aged young adults are invited to attend a new Sunday School Class in the loft at the HUB beginning August 29, 2010.  This class, led by Christina Cook, will help young adults incoporate their Christian beliefs into their daily lives and help them deal with the challenges facing them.

Ervin Class

This class meets in the room next to the Library in the Faith Center. They enjoy friendship and fellowship while studying God's word. The group uses the "International Lesson" material. The lessons are structured to cover the entire Bible, both the Old Testament and New Testament, on six year cycles. The Lesson Material is written by various Bible Scholars. "Adult Bible Studies" is designed to help Adults understand the meaning and authority of the Bible for living a Christian life. Visitors are always welcome. Elmer Beckendorf is the teacher.

Searchers Class

This class is led by Grady Bony. They are working their way through the Bible. Grady is so knowledgeable and opens the door for much discussion. All ages are welcome if they wish to study the Bible. The class has get-togethers to eat two or three times a year which also provides great fellowship. The Searchers meet in the Faith Center Library.

The Wanderers

This class welcomes any adult, single or married, young or old. The Wanderers are primarily a discussion group, choosing topics to read about and discuss with a Christian perspective. Reading is not required to enjoy and participate in the class. Differing perspectives and ideas are welcomed and encouraged. The Wanderers meet in the Parlor.

New Beginnings

The class would be great for younger couples, with or without children. They cover quite a lot of territory in experience and areas of knowledge. Blessings, reflections, and actions are abundant. The group meets in the kitchen in the Faith Center.
