The Rose Hill UMC Care Team is an outreach ministry of volunteer church members who strive to follow the example of Christ by caring for others. The Care Team is united in our mission to be God's instrument for bringing healing and wholeness in the lives of those in our church family and community. Areas of care and compassionate support include response to persons facing health concerns or times of loss, and who are homebound or in care facilities, and unable to be an active part of church activities.

·         Personal visits to those in the hospital, shut-in at home, or in nursing homes

·         Sending cards/notes

·         Phone calls

·         Providing rides to Sunday services for homebound members upon request. 

·         Coordinates food preparation for family death

·         Members of the team will be trained to administer communion to those they visit.

·         Coordinate special visits to provide music programs at nursing homes, etc.

o    The joy of music ministry is in sharing your special talents with the lonely or poor in health. Friends and members of RHUMC have hosted parties at nursing homes, visited one-on-one at care facilities, and participated as part of an ensemble or choir.
