Description: Volunteers mentor one-on-one with a student (grades 1-4) to help build the child's esteem. (Does not include academic tutoring)

TOMAGWA (Tomball / Magnolia / Waller Healthcare Ministries) www.tomagwa.org
Description: RHUMC youth recently participated in scavenger hunt to collect home medical supplies. RHUMC provides financial assistance, and Pastor Kay attends monthly TOMAGWA luncheon.

Tomball Regional Hospital http://www.tomballhospital.org/
Description: Several RHUMC members regularly volunteer at the hospital. Carol Coe, Nancy Beckendorf, Dorothy Beckendorf, Dorothy Papa volunteer in the gift shop. Rolf Kerr participates as a lay chaplain with the "Community of Hope" - includes making visits and holding prayer with patients who indicate an interest when they check in. This service is provided 5 days a week through Community of Hope.

Current Needs: The gift shop currently has enough help, but volunteers for other areas in the hospital are needed. Barbara Caldwell is Director of Hospital volunteers: 281-401-7500.

Description: RHUMC provided volunteers to help paint (summer before last) - also has prepared lunches - but not on regular basis.

Description: RHUMC has been conducting a blood drive twice a year after Sunday services.

Description: RHUMC has conducted a clothing drive in support of shelter residents.

Description: RHUMC has volunteered to prepare a meal for a group home or take a small group of kids to a movie. Rolf Kerr has volunteered during the summer - includes playing table games with the kids. (Ages pre-school through high school)
